MES – New Website
MES is proud to announce the release of its new website. We were able to retain the new address – www.mesinc.net ushering us finally in the new century!! The irony is that mesinc.net and .com names have just not been available for last few years so we were living with www.mesinc.info address. The new website features the following key information of our Five-Stage Service Model:
  1. Supplier Selection (India, China, Australia)
  2. Supplier Qualification – Audits, Inspections
  3. Optimize Logistics Cost
  4. Warehouse Inventory in US (Currently Ohio and Alabama)
  5. Domestic value-added machining for special order components

The new website also has other features:
  • Allowing customers to send their RFQs directly to us.
  • Allows access to suppliers to respond to RFQs and their delivery dates.
  • Better educate customers about MES services, products offered, industries served and most importantly,
  • Show how MES can reduce customers procurement costs by reducing their TLC (Total Landed Costs)

China – Purchasing Trip – Oct' 2009

Customer Visit – India Foundries and Rubber Molding Factories

China Trip – Oct' 2009
Hiten Shah from MES visited various factories in China for sand castings, die-castings, permanent mold castings, stampings and light fixture assemblies. He also interviewed to add to the staff in our China purchasing activities.

Trip was very successful with suppliers presenting their capabilities with full vigor. We also developed some sales strategies with our key suppliers to better focus our sales activities in US for our and our supplier’s growth.

We have added 3 new suppliers in our supply chain in second half of 2009 and will be significantly adding to our capabilities from China in 2010.

India – Customer Trip – Dec' 2009
MES Sales Engineers travelled with a leading vibration control products customer to India. The trip incorporated travelling to three cities in India – Delhi, Mumbai and Rajkot. Customers were able to visit 7 factories in the areas of Rubber molding, die-casting, sand-castings and permanent mold castings. Customers representatives joined for their very first trip to India. They were visiting from US and Europe.

Indian suppliers have made a quantum leap over last decade in having robust quality systems to cater to their domestic and international customers. Factories showed really well and two of them could be classified as best in class compared to their counterparts in Europe and US alike. Factories showed comprehensive quality systems, poka-yoke measures, lean manufacturing and KAIZEN processes, employee training methods and excellent employee morale and leading management support to technology, employees and customers.

Customers were impressed and factories were APPROVED for production and shipments into US and Europe
