Total Landed Cost
- MES offers a minimum cost savings of over 20% over domestic sourcing or over a customer who does their own low cost sourcing activities.

Optimizing offshore shipping costs
- Shipping costs from India and China have doubled over last 4 years.
- MES tries to optimize its supply from various customers by combining into larger loads of 20' and 40'
- While customer purchasing and expediting managers tend to order what they need and can handle in their warehouse, MES focuses on lowering its shipping costs by optimizing and combining its loads from various suppliers.
- We also negotiate aggressively and pass on the savings to its customers
Warehousing
- Our primary warehousing location is in Richwood, Ohio and Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
- Richwood location has following key features:
- It is a 60,000 square feet facility.
- This location caters to two Honda Keiretsu suppliers and ships about 15 – 20 truck loads directly into Honda facility which is conveniently located about 20 – 30 miles away.
- It is fully heated with security system.
- Sprinkler system (with independent water source).
- 6 wide bays and 1 bay to handle high cube container and a drive-in dock.
- It has an on-site machine shop, fabrication and a press shop.
JIT / KANBAN
- All of our customers have an ongoing pressure on reducing inventory costs. They have initiatives which challenge plant managers and purchasing managers alike to help reduce their inventory costs.
- MES ships JIT to its various customers. We ship daily to Honda suppliers in the area. In addition, we often deliver even twice a day for larger assemblies. On average, our facility ships 15 – 20 truckloads directly into Honda facilities.
