MES Opens Warehouse in Poland

After MES Inc. opened, a European office in Poland, earlier this year, we are proud to announce that we have also set up a warehouse in Lubuskie province (City of Swiebodzin – Zielona Gora), near the crossing of routes S3 and the A2 motorway. Storage, repackaging, cross docking, order picking, quality control and labeling, are some of the services that will be performed in this 32,000 sq. ft. facility.

Located in the Western part of Poland, 80 km from the border with Germany, both the office and the warehouse are strategically positioned to serve the European lighting, automotive, industrial machinery manufacturing, heavy and agricultural machines, electronics and medical industries.

The choice of opening operations in Poland is related to its strategic position in Europe. Located at the crossroads of European trade and transport routes, Poland is one of the top prospective location for foreign investors (not only in the CEE region, but in Europe as a whole). The past decade was marked especially by massive investment in the automotive industry, which alone represents over 11% of the Polish economy.  Many automotive suppliers have set up shop in Poland, to mention a few, OEMS like Volkswagen, Volvo, GM, Fiat, Scania and MAN as well as tier 1 suppliers like Delphi, Faurecia, Valeo, Mahle, Magneti Marelli, Bridgestone and Goodyear.
