As a global supply chain management company with resources around the world, we at MES, Inc. regularly help companies improve their supply chain efficiency and reduce expenses. We use a combination of international offices, select carriers and warehouses to minimize expenses as much as possible. None of our other resources would be effective, though, if we did not have state-of-the-art domestic warehousing solutions.
Our Domestic Warehouses
We have four warehouses, one of our warehouses is in Richwood, Ohio, one is in Mt. Vernon, Ohio the other two are in SantaFe CA and Monterrey MX. Together these facilities provide almost 150,000 sq. ft. for us to store shipments in. They have a total of six wide bays, one bay for high cube containers and a drive-in dock, so dropping off and picking up inventory never takes long – 15 to 20 trucks leave every day, just for one company! We have the space to store inventory, if it needs to be stored, and we have the bays to receive it and move it out quickly.
Our warehouses are equipped with the latest technology, to protect the precious inventory housed in them. They both have a sprinkler system with an independent water source, as well as a full security system. During Ohio’s cold winters, we keep the warehouses nice and warm with powerful heaters. Your inventory is safe in our domestic warehouses.
Custom-Made Items
Some of our customers need to alter products once they receive them in the states. Our facilities are equipped with a machine shop, fabrication and a press shop. All of these are on-site, so items can be altered without sending them to another location. Some companies use these shops to customize parts once they are received, while others use these shops for some final machining after the parts are received. In rare cases, these shops also let us correct minor mistakes that may be made during manufacturing, without shipping the inventory back to the manufacturing plant.
A Trusted Domestic Warehouse
We are pleased that Honda trusts our facilities with their inventory. Every day, 15 to 20 trucks loads leave our bays for a Honda facility that is about 30 miles away. They are loaded with parts that Honda will use for manufacturing. We appreciate every company that trusts us, but we are especially glad that such a large, well-known company would use us as their domestic warehouse solution.
