It’s the end of the year, and for most organizations, it’s time to time to reflect on wins and losses. Did we meet or exceed financial forecasts? Did we increase the total units sold to last year? Did we reduce inventory and decrease transit times? All common questions organizations ask themselves towards the end of the year. While MES asks similar type questions, a bigger question we asked ourselves was, “did we increase our employee charitable donations this year”?
With the 2019 holiday season well underway, it’s easy to get caught up in the holiday madness, searching for the greatest deals, finalizing year-end reporting, last-minute travel arrangements. It’s easy to forget the ones who need a second chance, helping to put food on the table or helping to put gifts under a tree. At MES, we strive to help those in need year-round, especially during the holiday season. We don’t allow for the distractions, meetings, and deadlines to become an excuse for why we cannot take time to support and give back to our local Charites. This year, we carried on our ‘double-down’ tradition in collecting food donations, as well as cash donations for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Euro Metrics Sp. z.o.o recently completed an expansion that included new plant equipment to bring essential quality control functions in-house. Euro Metrics can now perform all necessary Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) inspections at its warehousing facility in Zielona Góra, Poland. The rapid growth of Euro Metrics’ business – in only its first year of operations – has made this expansion necessary.
