MES Volunteering at YWCA Family Center in its Fourth Year

MES believes that philanthropy isn’t just about giving money, but putting efforts and donating our time to make the most impact. Today, we are very honored and blessed to have this opportunity in our fourth year of helping YWCA family center to serve food to homeless families.  Every year, we encourage our employees to volunteer their time on helping people because we believe volunteering is about giving, contributing and helping other individuals and the community at large. Iron Casting – Terex Canica Model 2000

Terex Canica 2000 is a crushing impeller which is used to crush items into smaller sizes. Rocks, concrete chunks, and other hard items enter Canica via the feed tube. This application needed very specific engineering specifications: a] Iron casting with precise Cr control which contributes to the feed tubes high abrasion resistance and durability for this type of application. In fact, the main reason customer sourced this part from MES is because the previous supplier could not control Cr within 2%. b] Hardness of 53HRC + 10 HRC in as cast condition is also difficult to achieve without causing cracks. Safety Training

MES Metrics Mexico Safety Training

Creating a culture of workplace safety begins with a well-trained workforce. Last week, MES safety training program took place in MES Metrics Mexico. Employees trained on-site to improve their safety consciousness and knowledge, to prevent incident happening and implement first aid measures. MES believes that real-world experience on how to make the workplace safer for everyone is the best way to protect and benefit employees. Every year, there are many similar training programs being held at different locations globally at MES. These programs include fire protection, safety materials handling and storage, personal protective training, CPR and first aid. MES global offices and warehouses also have related inspections at regular intervals to ensure environmental safety. MES believes that employees are a company’s  greatest asset, and we want everyone works at MES has a healthy and safe working environment.
