MES would like to introduce its technology partner, MESH, which has helped them digitize their Supplier Relationship Management and Quality Management system.

MESH^SRM – MES’s sales teams worldwide worked on 1100+ New RFQs and 400 Requotes. This involved getting almost 6700 supplier quotes across 21 processes. MESH also allowed MES to send RFQs to almost 350+ suppliers in 40 countries. All of this was accomplished with just 2 Cost estimators in Ohio.

* How many $ have been quoted by which estimator or sourcing engineer?

* What % of RFQs receive more than 2 or 3 quotes?

* How long did it take to open and close the RFQs?

* How many requotes were done, as almost all quotes need to go through that process to make a final decision on sourcing?

* Include all communications for all sourcing/purchasing RFQs in the system for ease of sharing or transferring RFQ responsibility to other team members with ease

* Have customized templates for RFQs for die-castings vs. forgings vs machined parts

* Create RFQ for complicated bar stocks with ease using customized templates for CNC machining plants

* Verify supplier compliance and certification documents are updated without any nudging from MES contact – the system sends reminders to suppliers for any expiring certification, and they can update it themselves.
