MES Giving Back During the COVID-19 Outbreak

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop around the world, we’ve seen countless event cancellations. Through sporting events to music concerts to even businesses. However, one type of business that won’t be closing anytime soon, are the food banks, Ronald McDonald House of Charities and the YWCA’s of the world. Here at MES, we’re doing our part to giving back to these non-profits. We’ll visit a variety of non-profits and dropping off perishable and non-perishable items as well as making financial donations.

With unemployment rising and society increasing food rationing, donations to food banks and other non-profits haven’t seen their normal amounts. Grocery stores donate a large portion of items to food banks and when grocery stores quickly sell out, it severely impacts non-profits. That’s why we’ve jumped in to help restock non-profit’s food inventory and non-perishables. Over the course of a week, our team will be dropping off good to several non-profits over the course of a week, delivering goods and other items.

Helping your community is critical and there are several ways to support food pantries during these difficult times. Visit FOODPANTRIES.ORG to find a food bank near you.
