Employees Safety & Maintaining Operations is Our Top Priority
As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, here at MES, we’re committed to doing what’s best for our employees, their families, and our community. All while managing our day-to-day operations during these difficult times. While our office remains open, we’ve provided the option for associates to work remotely with secure equipment to maintain business as usual. There are circumstances in which associates elected to work out of our office. Thus we’ve taken several precautions to a healthy work environment.
- Daily surface cleaning
- Disinfecting meeting rooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the office
- Provide employees with sanitation and cleaning wipes
- Enabling employees to work from home
- Pay close attention to the CDC guidelines to maintain healthy environments
While keeping our employees safe is a top priority, maintaining healthy customer inventories and on-time deliveries is equally essential. To date, we’ve seen a minimal impact on our supply chain efforts and maintained customer forecasted product availabilities. Between our global sourcing, planning, supply chain, and warehouse associates, all are working diligently to manage customer orders and deliveries. We have seen little to zero interruption to our supply chain efforts that would impact our ability to meet forecasted orders and stocking levels. Our teams are working quickly with freight forwarding partners to mitigate any logistical issues.
With the COVID-19 situation changing quickly, our plans and procedures are evolving. Our MES team will continue to take the necessary steps to provide a safe, healthy, and functioning operation for our employees. We are committed to minimizing any service disruptions for our customers to the best of our abilities, maintaining customer inventories, on-time deliveries, and around the clock customer communications.
