MES Wonderkids Host Blood Donation & is a Major Success

Philanthropy is at the core of our business, so too with our founders, Hiten and Heena Shah. Owners of an incredible charitable organization known as Wonderkids Metrics Charitable Trust. Founded in 2007, this organization provides countless donations to their local community. Located in Mumbai, India, the Wonderkids organization wanted to give back something more to their community, by far more significant than they have before; lifesaving blood donations and wellness checks for COVID-19. Led by General Manager Nipul Keniya, Wonderkids hosted their very first blood donation drive and turned out to be a remarkable event.

This two-day event turned into a popular attraction in their home community, attracting more than 150+ individuals. They first conducted wellness checks at their local police station, and any individual who had one or more of the predetermined symptoms were directed to a local hospital for further COVID-19 testing. Once wellness checks were completed, and no signs of illness symptoms were determined, locals moved to the blood donation center. In total, Wonderkids collected over 30 bottles of blood with several negative blood types, all of which are being held in one of the local hospitals. Fifteen bottles will be designated to the Wonderkids Metrics Charitable Trust and given to referred patients free of charge.
