On May 3rd, 2018, Columbus Council on World Affairs (CCWA) invited Hiten Shah and Heena Shah to attend its 2018 International Awards Ceremony in Downtown Columbus. The ceremony brought together more than 600 business and civic leaders from 50 institutions, and it also recognized more than 100 global scholars diploma graduates from area high schools-prepare to be inspired. MES made its contribution in the event to CCWA’s education program to support and encourage students to pursuing their dreams. Hiten believes success rarely happens without education, and he is always glad that he has an opportunity to make a difference in lives of these students. Creating a culture of workplace safety begins with a well-trained workforce. Last week, MES safety training program took place in MES Metrics Mexico. Employees trained on-site to improve their safety consciousness and knowledge, to prevent incident happening and implement first aid measures. MES believes that real-world experience on how to make the workplace safer for everyone is the best way to protect and benefit employees. Every year, there are many similar training programs being held at different locations globally at MES. These programs include fire protection, safety materials handling and storage, personal protective training, CPR and first aid. MES global offices and warehouses also have related inspections at regular intervals to ensure environmental safety. MES believes that employees are a company’s greatest asset, and we want everyone works at MES has a healthy and safe working environment.
For the purpose of honoring the remarkable work of inclusive organizations and individuals in Central Ohio, Columbus Business First magazine presents an exclusive awards program-the diversity in business awards-in all arears of diversity.
